Guarantees

All specialist remedial works receive a South East Timber & Damp Guarantee. Unless specified differently in the surveyors report.

  • We offer a 10/20 year guarantee for all Chemical Damp Proofing
  • We offer a 20 year guarantee for all Timber Treatment
  • We offer between 5-10 year guarantees on any tanking/waterproofing
    works completed below ground.

If requested we will re-assign this guarantee FREE OF CHARGE to a new owner of a property for the remainder of the guarantee period.

Insurance policies to cover your guarantee

If you require additional peace of mind you will find it here with:

South East Timber & Damp Limited can offer you Guarantee Protection Insurance Ltd (GPI) or CGS – Construction Guarantee Scheme Insurance an insurance certificate to insure you up to 20 years from the time the work is carried out. If the contractor (South East Timber & Damp Limited) goes out of business then GPI or CGS will provide another member contractor in their place to rectify any problems under the guarantee, free of charge.

Re-inspections

If you hold a guarantee for works we have carried out on a property you own and you believe the works have failed in any way we would be happy to return and re-inspect the area of concern.

We do make a charge for this service to cover our costs.
